Design and curation of Indian
Fans/Pankhas from the Collection
of Jatin Das

The task was to design and put
together all the components of the
exhibition. This included curation,
planning, design and production.
Exhibition, graphics, publications,
souvenirs and workshop material
for the children were all designed
as part of one holistic project. The
exhibition was produced in India
and in Switzerland.


The display gave the fans a sense
of lightness, making apparent the
association with air and heat. The
display structures were made of steel
with wooden bases, handwoven silk
backdrops and graphic panels.
